Is "Slow Talk" still there?

I've enjoyed reading the Slow Talk website in the past; but, have been unable to get it for the last couple of days. Is anyone else having the same problem?

I got on this morning but just now could not. It has been acting that way for several days. Keep trying.

I posted last night on the France forum. They were down for maintenance a few days ago so maybe that's what you ran into. Also, sometimes I find that I just can't get in, but if I try several hours later, I can. I guess the site is a little bit quirky.

They did a software update about 3 or 4 days ago. Ever since, it hasn't worked right for me. But I thought it might just be my old gasping computer. When I click on a subject, it begins to flicker and I have a hard time disconnecting (takes way too long)

So I am glad to know it isn't just me and there is some life left in my aging Mac!

Ah, the dreaded software upgrade. Always screws things up. And the users usually don't notice any special increase in capabilities.

for those of us that are new to this site can you tell me what "slow talk" is and how does it differ from this site, and how do I access it? I'm still learning along with many others. We'd all love your help.

SlowTrav's emphasis is on a slower paced vacation. Lots of good information for any type of traveler though.
