Great Eats in Paris

HI all! going to be in paris for 5 days in mid of september. looking for some places for dinner. interested in great food, not insane prices. i realize paris is expensive, but some restaurant profiles i've seen are a bit over the top with prices.

looking for:

- Fusion Food (French incorporated with one or more other nationality of cuisine)

- Nouvel Cuisine (More contemporary french food, traditionally inspired but not heavy like traditional)

- a warm, beautiful bistro/brasserie

Thanks for your help!!!!!
happy trails!

While Fodor's is haven of people of good -- even superior -- taste in all things Parisian and otherwise, you might want to hedge your bets by registering on a website like Chowhound or egullet, where people make an obsession of tracking down fusion food, etc. in Paris.

You can also do a search here for Paris restaurants and settle in for a month or so of useful reading.

Fusion with a really good value menu at lunch, but reasonable at any time, Le Pre Verre in the 5th arrondissement.

Carte Blanche fits the description you seek very nicely. It is at #6 Rue Lamartine in the 9th.
