I appreciate so many replies. I guess I didn't explain myself well in my original post, but we live in Indiana, where it gets very cold in the winter. I was comparing our 45 degree temperature to Florida. For us, 45 degrees feels colder in Indiana than it does in Florida, because Florida usually has the sun shining & the wind doesn't blow as cold (maybe the water temp causes that). So, I wasn't sure what to expect with a 45 degree Paris.

Anyway, we have decided. We have never been to Paris & it is high on our travel wish list. The idea for this trip came suddenly & therefore we do not have time to pick a great weather time for Paris. So, we decided, that we want our first trip to Paris to be at a better time of year. Therefore, we are going to Rome. We've been there many times in November & have been lucky enough to have great weather & we love Rome.

So hopefully, God willing & the creek don't rise, we'll see Paris in the spring!

Thanks everyone, Julie

A good decision. Fall/winter in rome are usually more moderate than Paris - even though it can still rain obviously.
