Thank you all so much. I went to a lunch meeting and came back to so many informative and helpful replies. I'm writing down as much as I can on one notecard and will give it to her to carry since we will not be dining together at all meals. Thank you again everyone.

P.S. It is not a life threatening allergy (or at least it hasn't been to this point). Her mouth becomes swollen and itchy and she has other miscellaneous allergic symptoms. It is definitely unpleasant so she is pretty good about avoiding any products containing eggs. Thank you for the concern and the SelectWisely website. I will pass on the info

If she has a severe egg allergy my concern would not be salad dressings (as mentioned, usually vinaigrette in Germay) but all of the other dishes that may have eggs in the sauce, the breading etc.

Can she eat egg noodles? Bread/pasty made with eggs?

I would get the card that explains no eggs at all - and show it at every meal - depending on how severe the problem is.
