Will be in Germany again this summer and looking for a new place to explore within 2 hours (car)of Frankfurt. Our favorite German town is Rothenburg and would like to discover another town similar if possible. You might have missed Cochem on the Mosel, midway between Trier and Koblenz, a charming town of cobbles and half-timbered houses that does get busy in summer but isn't nearly as overrun by international tourists as Rothenburg.
