Reservations were necessary on a Saturday night at le Train Bleu last February. I went to a get-together of people from this message board and we had reserved a large table. We ended up inviting two strangers to join us because we had extra seats and there were no more tables available.

Thanks for the information and hope the experience is a good one.

When I asked my partner about the possibility of eating in a restaurant in Paris next Summer that has a fabulous interior buit isn't air conditioned and that some feel is overpriced the answer was a resounding "No!."

Oh, well...
