Instead of complaining about it, why don't you just install a pop up blocker. There are plenty of free ones to download.

Keith,

Just go and buy the MURANO and get it over with! Then you will be so glad that you saw it HERE first. I'm planning on taking one on a test drive soon.

It's that old---"if you can't fight it, join it" adage.

Keith,
Tweaking your browser settings can usually cure such annoyances.

Something odd is going on here -- I do NOT have a popup blocker and I have never once gotten any popup ad on Fodors. There are some ads at the top of the pages (right now for Living Language) but they never block the browser and are not popups.

I've seen the Nissan Murano ad also at the top of the page but never once has it been a popup.

I just use MSIE browser.

I think your mouse is playing cat and mouse. Ads never blowup or take over my screen as you say. Also no pop-ups.

I don't use any pop-up blocker software. I think your browser is set up for this to happen and/or you have not installed windows updates when they are made available.

It is the Hyatt ads that are doing it. I didn't mind _too_ much when it was only happening on http://fodors.com/forums but it is also happening with the Hyatt ads at the end of some of these messages.

I find them much worse than popups, and I despise popups & unders.

I need to let my browser settings where they are, to use some of the web sites required for my work.

Keith

No pop ups for me either, but I'd enjoy free websites, so I just deal with the ads or get a blocker.
