Can anyone reccomend a nice 3 star hotel with a place to park a car on the other side of the Arno. Near San Spirito Church. Thanks

www.venere.com allows you to choose hotels within a certain area.

We stayed at a wonderful hotel in Forence - Hotel David. It has parking,is across the street from the Arno, and is within walking distance to the centre of Florence. The price was quite reasonable for Florence. I would highly recommend it. Check it out on tripadvisor.com

The Church of San Sprito is on the side of Arno opposite from the side the Duomo, Uffizi, Santa Croce, etc. are on.

Since it is not far from the Arno (maybe equivalent of about three blocks), it actually would be convenient to any hotel on either bank, in the same general vicinity. Just my opinion.
