Lady in Red ...actually my long lost sister who has finally reached her long sought niche in life.
If you wish, glance at the Norway pics, which also feature Flam, the fjords, Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, The Lofotens, Tromso, Black glacier, Bodo, etc. A rewarding month of travel.
You can tell it was quite chilly in August.

Yes, tower and I are sitting opposite one another!
I liked being able to look ahead and see the tracks and where we were heading. As stated, you get to see the falls up close when you stop, so seeing them from window wasn't too critical.
I loved being able to see the little village in the valley as you approach the end of the line and also being able to see the fjord as it comes into view. YMMV
