Just because it's on AirBnB does not make it a legal rental.
Regardless for a family first trip to Paris I would want something more central, walking distance to the major sites, sights, and attractions. Near Luxembourg Gardens would be good, for example. Basically 5, 6, maybe 4, 7.

Thank you so much for all the feedback, everyone! I am going to continue looking for a place for us a bit closer in - either 4 or 7 I think! I have some larger itinerary questions about our trip as a whole I will post in another thread.
