Starrs, she said it was their way of sounding the alarm. She worked in the purse section. I love the bags in the meat department. They are super nice and cheap but gave mine away. I never saw the dog department.

Afternoon Tea at the Ritz with 7 women/girls (three generations) in my family. We dressed up and enjoyed the fabulous tea for at least 2 hours. Even the bathroom was worth seeing!

Kensington Palace has quite a few of Diana's dresses on display. Also, the ladies room has Diana wallpaper.

The Ceremony of the Keys, knowing we were just a tiny part of this magnificent history.

We were there on September 11, 2011 and had tickets to the memorial service at St. Pauls. It was solemn and exciting at the same time. The sun was shining in an upper window and making all the gold glitter.

Happy to be returning this September!

My fondest London memory is of an early morning visit to the (long gone) Covent Garden market before it got moved and the district gentrified. Cue music from My Fair Lady.
