London
I was planning on going to London and Paris for my honeymoon in December. I would arrive on the 22nd of December but now that I have begun to plan I realize that many things are closed on 12/24-26. Has anyone ever spent Christmas in London? Is there anything to do in that time or am I better off going to Paris and Switzerland that are only closed on 12/25.

Two excellent recent threads on this:

Any chance you could move up your wedding one week?
Then you could be home for Christmas.
Whatever your decision, congratulations on your new life in marriage.
Best wishes,
Rex

I've not been brave enough to go to London in the winter yet, but I just saw a special on Christmas in London. It recommended not to miss the London Eye, as the entire city lights up (but dress warmly!!!). Also, there is a certain neighborhood (Can't remember what now) in which each street competes in having the most beautiful light display... tailored to the common visitors of that street...
