Never been - what is your fav place to go and stay...quiet...beach...

Crete- Chania, west coast beaches and southern coast towns and beaches---enjoyed Naoussa,Paros.Did not see many from US in these locations, mainly Europeans.

Crete-- we had a great stay at the Blue Palace in Elounda (near Plaka) and I would jump at the chance to return soon. The thalassotherapy pool was to die for!

Crete- I drove to the beach of Xerocambos for a day, it was to die for. It is on the eastern coast. We stayed at White River Cottages in Analipsi which was very tranquil. Xerocambos seemed to have some simple accomodations.

I think a lot of Italians vacation here, there were a lot of Italian signs.
