Family accommodation Sorrento Area

Just planning our family trip to Italy next year with our 4 boys (5-10). Aiming to get the sleeper from Paris to Venice then train to Rome then train to Sorrento via Naples.
Just ploughing throught the web for accommodation around Sorrento but I would be grateful for any tips/
cooments regarding family accommodation
Thanks

With that large a group, I'd consider renting a villa or apartment--but it depends on how long you're staying.

Check www.slowtrav.com for information about self-catering options, reviews, etc.

If you are looking for one double and one quad room per night, the following hotels offer quad rooms:

Grand Hotel Aminta
Grand Hotel Capodimonte
Best Western La Solara
Il Nido
Hotel Central

Of course, there may be more, but that's all the info I have right now.

Your other option could be three double rooms.

Do you have your travel dates?

Thanks for the info.
The slowtrav website is excellent.
I am hoping to book a villa for a week.

We are also aiming to have 2 nights each in Paris, Venice and Rome. Any info on family friendly hotels (2 adults 4 young children) appreciated
Thanks
Rob

For a villa in Sorrento area consider summerinitaly.com--I found them through slow travel--and they specialize in Sorrento area. One tip on booking villas, if you can forego getting one with a pool, you can usually get more rooms for the same price.
