Experience with Roma Rentals?
I am getting ready to wire funds for a deposit on an apartment for my daughter's semester in Rome. Roma Rentals is a US agency and my dealings with them so far have been limited (DD is doing most of the work.) I thought I had seen posts from people who have used them but I can't find them right now. Any comments, good or bad?

The Roma Rentals website,
http://www.romarentals.net/index.php
says it's run by an American and has a U.S. phone number among others, but the only physical addresses shown are in Italy. So I would question that it is a "US agency".

The U.S. number shown for Roma Rentals shows a 213 area code which is downtown Los Angeles. A quick search of the county Registrar Recorder for that name, and one with the Secretary of State for corporations shows nothing with that name.

You know, I suspect that the LA phone number is only a phone number with an answering machine that they check from Italy. My daughter mentioned that she never gets them when she calls but they always call back.
