Experience with any of these 3 hotels in Florence?

Doing research on hotels for an Oct trip to Florence--have looked on this site, TripAdvisor, and others, and am finding some basis for comparison. But I wonder if anyone has a strong opinion--either good or bad--about any of these, and is willing to share it?

Hotel Albani--Via Fiume
Hotel Santa Maria Novella--in Piazza Santa Maria Novella
Hotel de la Ville--Piazza Antinori

I'd appreciate any thoughts!

Hello, I have stayed many times at the Hotel de la Ville . I love the location. You might also want to check the Hotel ALBERGATTO on the same street. Very nice hotel and less expensive,They include a lovely breakfast in the cost of the room. My last few trips to Florence I have stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. Hope this helps.

A few years ago stayed at Hotel Aprile within walking distance of the SMN rail station. We enjoyed our stay, they upgraded us for some unknown reason to a suite. I haven't seen their reviews on Trip Advisor lately, but you might
want to check them out.

Just got back from Florence 2 weeks ago and we stayed in a B and B that had a fantastic location. In Piazza Della Signoria is a stone's throw from the Ufizzi and we were able to quicly walk to everything. The rooms were great, the breakfast fabulous (the best that we had in Italy) and the staff is professional and courteous. I know that it is not one of the one's that you mentioned, but thought you might like another suggestion.

Thanks, florencetraveler--I do appreciate your suggestion! As it happens, we have already made our reservations, though.
