Ephesus tour info needed

We have one day in Kusadasi (late October cruise stop) - looking at making arrangements for a tour of Ephesus. If you had the choice of including the Virgin Mary's house - or - the Terrace houses, which would you choose?

Any ideas for making private tour
arrangements would be welcomed, as well.

The terrace houses (I've been there), but I don't believe in those myths about the VM.

The tour including Mary's house is excellent, I believe it to be true and was quite moved to be there. The 7-8 hour tour of Ephesus is unbelievable, what an unforgettable day!

Are the terrace houses in Ephesus? If they're what I think they are, why do you have to choose? One day, even a morning is enough time to see both. We used an independent Turkish guide that Gate1travel found us. It was reasonable and even though it was suppose to be a small group, it turned out to be only my DH & me! So we had a private guide and driver.

We also did the Virgin Mary's house & Ephesis in one day-plus a nice lunch with our tour guide and a carpet shop-Ephesis not to be missed-Chris

We did both in a one-day tour, and enjoyed it very much. I made our arrangements through ANKER TRAVEL in Kusadisi, and they provided us with a private driver and guide. It was definitely a highlight of our trip!

Hi scdreamer;

I would also do both whether the sory of VM is true or not.

If you give your timing and choose to make a private tours your given time can be proportioned and you can see all and do not miss a bit.

Happy travelling,

Murat

If you have the chance to book apart from the cruise, I think you would enjoy it much more. The cruise groups are huge and loud. This is a site were you definitely want some time to soak in the whole picture. Most of the ship tours do not include the terrace homes and they are not to be missed. Enjoy.
