English speaking taxi service in Paris
One of the Fodorites posted this service and we used it a few weeks ago. Merci!
Phone #01-41-27-66-99
As stated they were a bit early and waiting outside when we took our luggage out. We called 2 days before we needed them, but I think 1 would be enough.
Being in an apt. in Paris and not speaking French, this was a very simple solution in getting to CDG. We did take the RER in from the airport, but we now had more luggage(shopping, you know) and didn't feel we could navigate the stairs and turnstyles with ease. It was 65 Euros including luggage, plus tip, which is a bit more than a van shuttle service, but it was so efficient we would not hesitate to use it again.

That's G7 taxi company, I believe. When you say "plus tip", does that mean the tip is included in that 65 euro or not? Just wondered as it is on the high end of the fare without tip, that's for sure. I believe it, it's just that I've never paid 65 euro for the trip even on days there were some big traffic jams on the peripherique. I think the most expensive fare I ever had was 60 euro from CDG to around rue Mouffetard, and there was some massive strike or highway closure or something that day that caused a lot of delays. I travel alone a lot, though, so such a fee for two people would be totally worth it to me for the convenience, but I know others wouldn't think so.

I think it was 60 Euros plus around 5 for the baggage, and I think MDH gave him an 8 Euro tip just because he was so happy with the service. It was from Ile St. Louis to CDG at 7:30am so a fair amount of traffic.
We've used the RER at 17 Euros for 2 on the low end and a private car service at 80 Euros on the high end. This was just so easy and efficient, I thought I'd mention it again (I did mention it in my trip report).

Ever since I caught a G7 Taxi driver taking me for a ride, I havent used them. Just because he correctly pegged me for someone who was going to expense the Taxi ride, doesnt give him him the right to give me an extra 20E tour.
