DUBYA LOVES OZZY
This one's true:

SCARY or what? George W Bush has invited Ozzy Osbourne to dinner at the White House.

The war-crazy US President is a big fan of the heavy metal star who once bit off a bat's head during one particularly wild stage act. And Mr Bush is hooked on Ozzy's MTV show The Osbournes - a fly-on-the-wall docusoap about life in the singer's Beverly Hills home.

An example of American class?

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/allnews...l&siteid=50143

Not my words, just the reporters. Oh yeah, W's a man of taste and refinement.

Realize the implications: C average at Yale, which he admits to crowds of impressionable youth, arrested for drunk driving and drug possession, AWOL from the National Guard, an association with ENRON dating back to the mid 1980s, totally bereft of experience or qualifications for the most powerful job in the world. Why worry? Be happy.

Rocker--you like some old passe music. I mean some of it is good music, but don't you think you might try sometjing new once in a while.

Brit--can you really talk with that stuffy old nazi hag Thatcher you produced.

I wonder how Bush's white right wing christian allies will view their holier than now man (the former drunk and coke head sinner) watching this "immoral" trash! Only an idiot would enjoy watching that fat slob osbourne.

Jack, I like some of the Stone Temple pilot's work. Afterall, they are-were a rock n' roll band. Most of the crap on radio today is mellowed out pop music passing as rock. Other newer bands I liked were Jnes's addiction, but they disbanded!

Long live stations like 107.7 the Bone on KSAN FM in Sanfran!!

A few fun facts:

Eighty-four years after the "war to end all wars," George W. Bush seems hell bent on starting a "war to end all peace" and our government is pursuing a nuclear arms policy that make Dr. Strangelove look like a sissy.

We have a president who believes that the people's business is none of the people's business.

We have an Attorney General who considers civil liberties to be an annoyance (and calico cats to be a sign of the devil).

Our president is pushing for the adoption of a permanent wartime budget, which will neglect domestic needs while substantially increasing the already huge national debt we are so generously passing on to our children.

Our national parks and wilderness areas are now under the stewardship of people who have never seen a tree they didn't think would look better as a stack of lumber, or a wilderness area that wouldn't look lovelier with a nice assortment of oil derricks.

We are being led by people who honestly believe that the principal economic goal of the federal government should be to help rich people get richer.

We have a president who also believes that Congress should stop bothering him while he's busy running the country.

And by the way, all of this is being done by a president who didn't actually win the election.

This is no time for silence. IT'S TIME TO ROCK 'N ROLL.

I love the Osbournes!! Am I the only one who sees the irony in Ozzy Osbourne, his wife and two kids and Ozzy Nelson, his wife and two kids as a TV program? The difference is "The Osbournes" is REAL and "Ozzy and Harriet" was FAKE. I'll take the foul-mouthed Osbournes over the homogenous, facile, cookie-cutter Nelsons any day.
