Hi. My wife and I are planning a 2 week trip to Turkey. We'll be renting a car and have made a rough itinerary. BUT, we're not sure about travel times by car. michael - you could be asking about driving times ANYWHERE. Try posting a new question with a better title. At minimum put Turkey in the title.

2 weeks are really not enough to visit all this places Michael.Stay at least 1 week in Istanbul and then you can drive to Canakkale visit hist.places and then<BR>drive to this quiet place-Assos with wonderful sea and meals.If you are interested in Scuba-diving,you can drive 1/2 hour from Canakkale to SAROZ.<BR>OR after Istanbul you can drive to Selcuk.(take the seabus from Yenikapi/Istanbul to Bandirma)www.ido.com.tr)and then to Fethiye-kas-kalkan-olympos.etc<BR>Apprx driving times( 80-90km/hour)<BR>&Yacute;st- Canakkale-290km 4 hours<BR>Canakkale-Assos-2 hours<BR>Selcuk-Fethiye 3 hours<BR>Fethiye-kas 2 hours<BR>kas-olympos 2 hours<BR>olympos-antalya 2 hours<BR>Please ask for any further info<BR><BR><BR>

Hi Michael;<BR><BR>Altough I did not drive myself from istanbul to Canakkale, my friends tells me about 3 hrs. drive.<BR><BR>I would correct the driving times suggested by Debbie ;<BR><BR>Fethiye Kas ; 107 km.s 1,15 hrs,<BR>Kas to Olympos ; 1,5 hrs +/- 15 min.<BR>Olympos to Antalya 1 hr.<BR><BR>However there are some real nice sites to visit between Fethiye - Kas and Kas - Olympos<BR><BR>These are drict driving times.<BR><BR>Enjoy your holiday
