How long to drive from Istanbul to Kayseri? How fast can you drive? What speed can you average?

Hi the speed limit in Turkey is 90kms on the highways but of course not everyone chooses to drive this way. Average speed on good roads will probably be 100-110 kms.

The distance from Istanbul to Kayseri is 770 km (479 miles) NW, and about 12 hours by bus. But of course if you are driving yourself It may not take this long.

Will you be driving your own car or a rental?? If renting then take an overnight bus or fly ,and then rent a car in Kayseri. One thing to consider gas is very expensive in Turkey.

From Istanbul to Ankara there is HIGHWAY that you can make 120 KM then to Kayseri you can drive 90 KM.

Istanbul to Ankara is 500 KM
Ankara to Kayseri 400 KM

I am sure you can calculate. Ofcourse it depends on your drýve too, because you are going to drive on the foreign country road JUST becareful.

Have a nice trip in Turkey
