Doing laundry
I'll be heading for England and Germany next week for an 18 days trip. I don't want to bring too many clothes (am thinking just 5 shirts and 3 trousers). But I wonder, how easy is it to find a laundromat in:
1) Cheltenham (Travelodge)
2) London - will be staying near St Pancras/Kings Cross station (Travelodge)
3) Berlin - in Potsdamerplatz (SuiteHotel)
4) Munich - near train station (Hotel Royal)
In between these places, I'll be on a road trip. So not much hope to wash clothes overnight.
Appreciate advice from those familiar with these places.
Thanks in advance!

hi kakijalan,
have you tried google maps? they are my new best friend.
just put in the address you are interested in, put "launderette" into the search engine, and bob's your uncle.
regards, ann

Thanks a lot to all.
I've Googled but wasn't sure whether they'd be open. Will try my luck.
In any case, a friend told me that there's a hostel nearby which has laundry facility. Maybe I can try that one as well

Hi again,
most laundrettes will be open 9-6 weekdays and sats - suns may be variable.
in the UK, they will generally do service washes - you take your clothes in, and the attendant washes, dries and folds them. collect the next day. it doesn't cost much more than doing it yourself.
if you suss out a likely laundrette when you arrive in a particular place, you will probably have enough time there is get at least one wash organised.
