Dinner before Billy Elliot

My husband an I would like to have a nice meal before Billy Elliot at Victoria Palace on a Saturday night. Any good suggestions that are within walking distance of the Victoria tube stop?

Thanks!

Eat early -- show starts at 7:30 and you won't get out until about 10:30.

Thanks. I meant for restaurants.

We were planning on eating about 5 pm.

Mango Tree is a popular Thai restaurant that is between Victoria & Hyde Park Corner (though closer to HPCr, but you can walk). If you book through TopTable, you can get 50% off your food bill.

You'll be eating in "the afternoon" per restaurant standards, so I suggest checking out TopTable for anything you decide on. You may be able to score a good deal.

Thanks - my husband doesn't really like Thai. Italian?

jen...yes, Italiano for husband..we saw Billy last year when the £ was 2.00...yikes...so we had our early dinner directly across the street from the palace, and from Victoria Station... a very good Italian-oriented meal that didn't break the bank...<u>"Prezzo"</u>...chicken marsala, penne mozarella and tasty, crisp salads...later walked across the street for desert at Garfunkel's...also relatively reasonable.

The show? Superb!!

There is an ASK restaurant on one of the streets beside Victoria Station. It says it is a pizza chain, but it is much more than that--white tablecloths, pretty good Italian food, and reasonably priced.
