Diamond Commercial Location?

DH and I have been seeing the new commercial for "A Diamond is Forever / DeBeers" group, with the husband who "only sees one woman in the world."

The final shot shows the couple embracing above a very foggy and romantic group of bridges.

Does anyone know where that shot is taken?

I tried googling but couldn't find any info.

Thanks,
Koshka

This sounds familiar. Isn't the commercial filmed at San Marco in Venice, Italy? I may not be thinking of the same commercial you are, however.

Hi Statia,

No, that's the one where he screams "I love this woman."

This one has no speaking actors, just the shots of a (european?) city that looks vaguely French or Italian. Every woman the guy sees (models, waitresses, traffic cops, etc) have his wife's face. Then he gives her a pair of diamond earrings on an overlook of a foggy, multi-bridged river. I wondered if it was the Arno away from Florence.

I'm willing to bet it is a well known overlook/view and was hoping someone could tell me where it is.

http://www.hostultra.com/~TVsGreates...s/DeBeers.htm/, but could not get into it. You may have better luck

You're right Koshka...I am thinking of the one with "I love this woman." I don't think I've seen the one you're referring to, but I'll now be on the lookout for it!

That's the one, but there were no "city things" around the River, it looked very country.

I could be wrong, of course.

Holy cow, Koshka! I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw the commercial while writing Christmas cards yesterday! Where is this place? It didn't really look Parisian - lots of bridges close together following a curve. Could it be Prague? Budapest? I, too, would love to know.

I'm hoping it's Tuscany myself! I'd love to find the spot and do something "romantic" with DH there! Of course, we might end up in a romantic Italian jail for PDAs.

It's " Prague. " yes, beautifull Prague. I get goosebums everytime I see
it. I love that comercial.
I took a picture of that same shot with the view of the bridges. Is from
the hill opposite the opera house. I"ll check the name and let you know.
bye!!!
