ok, enough of this "drink more" stuff I get sick all the time b/c I do dumb things like have a glass of wine and then a martini, and the ONLY thing that works for the nasea is this stuff called Emetrol - get it at your drung store where the pepto is. Take it the minute you feel naseated, and you will be fine in a short while. I will def. be bringing some of that on my trip. Oh, and the advice about lots of water and vitamins is good too - it will help w/the hangover if you pop a multi before bed. HAve a good trip!

Can't believe no one has quoted the old adage, "Never mix, never worry." The worst hangovers I've ever had were when I topped off a night of cocktails or wine with a sweet nightcap like Grand Marnier.

Drink slowly and stop when you get dizzy. Then sleep at least 8-9 hours.
If you don't ruin your next day, you can enjoy drinking a little every day! Beats getting drunk and then wishing you were dead the next day.
Not that I'm an authority on the subject of getting drunk....

Actually, it might be nice to stop BEFORE you get dizzy.

Old Southern advice:

"Whiskey on beer,
have no fear;
Whiskey on beer,
mighty risky!"

Where are you going, Bashful?

In Russia every household had some liquid from pickled cucumbers to stop the headache after too much vodka. It's called "rassol" pronounced "russ-sOl".
