He means that he will "duck" you if he sees you first.

"What a maroon".

BTW, FWIW, Kensington has a go-anywhere, connect-anything power converter/adapter for $20 that is rated far superior to the $.50 item at Fry's. Investigate further. Cheaper isn't necessarily better.

ROFL!

Posting thanks for an e-mail in an on-line forum instead of just hitting Reply. Can you say "transparent?" I knew you could.

Geez, what kind of self-esteem issues are you folks dealing with, anyway?

Oh, Tommy, I knew you'd have something dumb to say, once more. If you must know, Feh and I work for the same company in different cities. His email directed me to the Kensington item described in his message.

You are the one who is w/o confirmation in this world. Parry on, old chap.

What's the model number on that Kensington? I need 12/110/220 for my Compaq.

Kensington makes the 33197 for car/airplane/wall, listing at $130. Targus offers two: APM10US and APM12US. The Travel Smart item in my original post can be found at

http://www.franzus.com/page/FOS/PROD/ELEC-CONV/TSM-1875CK-1

They've been making this gear for going on 40 years, so they probably know what they're doing. According to them, "Our leading position in the industry is such that Franzus is the number one supplier of Travel Accessories to the largest retailers in the world."

I don't see a $20 item at kensington.com fitting the description "smart" says "feh" directed him to - and then thanked him for(?) Nor a source that says Kensington stuff is "rated far superior" to Franzus.
