Choosing hotel in Chianti

We're staying in Chianti next Oct. and are trying to choose a hotel. Wonder if anyone knows anything about L'Ultimo Mullino, Relais Vignale, or Le Piazze. Would appreciate any info.<BR>Thanks

Suggest you consult the two Karen Brown guides on Italy -- there are lots of interesting and romantic places listed for that area in all price ranges. We've always had great luck with her recommendations. Buon viaggio!

I have another for you to consider - Podere Le Vigne in Radda in Chianti. The best place we stayed during our 2 week trip through italy. very clean, very large rooms, very nice owner, a pool, the best restaurant and in the cutest town! we didn't realized it was one of the best restaurants in the area! just go ahead and make reservations at the restaurant when you book your room. and i belive it was around $100 a night or less.

Either that's a really big bottle or the hotel is really, really tiny!
