There is a great store called Si Petit near the Places des Vosges. It has some very different things. I also had good luck in the Monoprix for very cute inexpensive things. As for the shoes, surprisingly, a lot of the european shoes for kids are available on zappos.

Sally30----any idea what street Si Petit is on?
cigalechanta----I absolutely love that red & purple dress pictured on the web site you stated above. Does anyone have any idea where I would find that?

Si Petit is at 9, rue de Birague. This is the website - http://www.sipetit.com/ - it is a bad website. Clothes are very cute, not as pictured!

My girlfriend always drags me to the nearest MONOPRIX when we are on our layovers in Paris for her grandchildren's clothing. The prices are really great and "the grandmother" also throws in a couple of bottles of wine with her purchases for herself?

TPAYT, I think that dress might be by Catimini, but I'm not sure. But if you like it, I bet you'll like Catimini. I have bought some of their outfits for my grandkids, and they're exquisite. Not inexpensive, of course. I love the way they combine fun, bright colors.
I also second grandmere's recommendation of Pom d'Api for shoes. They have some absolutely adorable ones. I try not to think about what I've paid for some of them.
They are always my 3 year old granddaughter's favorites, though.
I know I've spoiled her for life, because if you ask her which shoes she wants to wear, she always says "I want to wear the ones from Paris!" Eeek!

I'll have to check out Catimini. That outfit would be perfect. My 4 & 8 yr. olds also always want to wear there "Paris Outfits" for any special occaision at school or for a party. And, of course, grandma loves to hear the compliments.
