Carseats in Ireland?
I am going to Ireland with my husband, 3 year old and 10 mo. old in a few months for 2 weeks. We will be taking public transporation, a charter bus, and taxis to our destinations within country. Does anyone know is a carseat is required while travelling via public transportation/taxis? The last thing I want to do is wander around Ireland with a carseat in tow, but don't want to get stuck either. Thanks!

You may want to try over at www.irelandyes.com. Michele has traveled over 50 times to Ireland, and likely has the resources to find out your answer, if she doesn't already know!

Bus's don't require the use of child seats nor do Taxis

There would be nothing to attach a car seat to in a bus or a train. As for taxis - I'm sure they would be happy to have you take 30 minutes to properly install your own seat while the meter is running.
I am not aware of any places that requiers (or even offers) car seats on public transportation. If you want one either rent a car or get a car service that will provide one for a fee (versus a taxi).
