Planning a cross brdr car trip one way from Barcelona to paris. Have read some problems with drop off. Can anyone suggest best place to drop off car at Spain France bdr and pick up a car on the french side. Thanks

There is no problem with crossing borders in a rental car. there is just a fee for doing so. The amount of the fee will depend on the start and end points, which agency you use and what car you rent (larger cars and those with automatic transmission typically cost more).

You will need to check the cost differential between keeping one car the entire time versus two shorter rentals (which may cost more since each is for fewer days, as well as the cost and hassle of training across the border).
