Car pick-ups at airports
I have already paid for the car to pick up my group. the question is, do we tip the driver when we arrive at the destination? I have heard some do and some do not. Could I have the tipping protocal once more, please. thanks, Shanart

That depends on wether the tip was included in the price you paid or not - when you made arrangements this should have been sorted out. If the price was not quoted as inclusive of tip - then you should give one.
(When I travel on business there is always a car waiting for me - and I do not tip - because for our groups the price paid is always negotiated as inclusive of tip - so the invited guests don;t have any OOPS.)

Hi shanart,
Tipping the driver a few euro is accepted.
I think NYT meant that "service" was included. A service charge goes to the owner to pay for the employees. A "tip" is additional payment for additional service rendered.
