mgib,

Our reservations were at 8pm, but I think we were able to pick a time. Go with Ira's suggestion and call them. I was there 3 years ago.

Would love to hear you report back on the place. I would be interested in hearing what the prices are, wine, etc.

Hi Monica. We're planning on posting a trip report for our travels through Tuscany and Rome. We'll be in Tuscany for 5 days and Rome for 5 days. I'll make sure and include a section on restaurants, as my wife and I are "foodies".

I haven't eaten at this restaurant, however to answer your question as to when dinner is served, Italian usually go out to eat around 8:00-8:30 pm...even arriving as late as 10:00 pm to begin eating. Restaurants generally open at 7:00 pm (19:00).

mgib,

Here's my Tuscany journal (it's long!) from May 2004: http://www.luvtotravel.homestead.com/ItalyJrnl04.html

Have a great time!

Dinner starts at 8 pm and concludes at midnight. There is only one seating. Be prepared for a very filling, leisurely mea one of the best meals, if not the best I have ever experienced. Eat sparingly that day to prepare. Enjoy!
