Can you identify this European mobile number?

I have a number, but I don't know what country code to use. My suspicion is germany. Is there any way of telling?

The number is (0)9832xxxx

Thanks!

Hi mina, I googled it and it shows 9832 is for Wassertruedigen, Germany. Take care.

Can't really help you but I can tell you it's not the UK as UK mobile start with (0)7...it's not France because French mobile start with (0)6...it's not Holland as Dutch mobiles start with (0)6...

Can't help you any further but let me make a suggestion...if the carrier allows international roaming you can try to send a sms message to any other phone (shouldn't be that expensive if there's time on it) and the full number including country code will be visible. (also if yuo go to the menu, one of the menu choices might give you the name of the carrier and that might prove helpful in deciding what country it is)...

It seems like a landline number for an area around Dinkelsbühl and Nördlingen on the Romantic Road. So you need to prefix it with the country code for Germany, which is 49.
