We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Lungarno two years ago in August, and it is still high on my list of favorite hotels. Everything about it, from the excellent location on the Arno, to the quality of the rooms and the service, is outstanding.
If you decide to stay there, try to reserve a riverview room with terrace. The view is breathtaking, especially early in the morning and at dusk.
Also, try to have a Bellini at the bar just outside the lobby. The bar is only a few feet away from the banks of the Arno, and it's a magical way to start an evening in Florence!

A friend gave us a tour of Ca Maria Adele last May and I would stay there in a heartbeat! Have you checked out their website: www.camariaadele.it.
If you do stay there--please let us know all about it--it looked fabulous to me.

Have looked at the Hotel Lungarno and it is quite nice.
We preferred the Lungarno suites as you get a mini one bedroom apartment with a small kitchen and two bathrooms with one great shower and a nice bath. Breakfast and newspaper delivered to your room every morning. A lot more room that the Hotel Lungarno.
