Bus From Milan Airport to Florence

Does anyone know if there's a bus that goes from the Milan airport to Florence? To take the 1 hour bus from the Milan airport to the train station and then train to Florence, seems a little crazy.

Thank you.

Are you suggesting to fly from Milan to Florence? Wouldn't it be a 10 min flight?

The connecting flight from Malpensa to Florence Peretola airport takes about 45 minutes.

I dunno. Malpensa IS an hour (45 minutes?) north of Milan. We drove the highway (but maybe the long way around) from Florence to Milan via Carrara. Altogether, that way on the autostrada over the mountains took several hours. I don't see that you save much by going by bus. I'm sure there are frequent trains to Florence.

Milan just ten minutes from Florence?????? Cassidy, darling, you need to buy a map and READ it. I have flown Alitalia from Malpensa to Peretola twice and the flight was about 55 minutes. I am almost sure I paid $225 for roundtrip in January of 2001.

10 minutes was a bit of an exaggeration. It just seemed surprising that there would be a flight to such a short distance, but thanks for the advice (which I know you meant w/ sincerity . Thanks all for your responses. I didn't realize how far the airport was from the city.

Conversely, Cassidy, the ride from the Florence Airport to the city is very short!
