Getting from Florence to Milan Airport
Is there a train that goes directly from Florence to Milan Airport- I've seen people talk about the reverse but not this way. We plan to be in Florence and need to make a 12:30 p.m. flight from Milan to Barcelona. Thanks.

If Malpensa, you must change trains at Milano Centrale for a train to the airport.
If Linate, you can take a shuttle bus from Milano Centrale, but I'd just take a taxi.
But by making this journey the morning of your flight, you're taking a gamble that the trains will run on time. Was there no flight from Florence to Barcelona? Would you consider heading to Milan the night before your flight?

THE DIRECT TRENITALIA FRECCIAROSSA TRAINS WHICH HERETOFORE HAVE BEEN OPERATING BETWEEN MILANO MALPENSA AIRPORT AND FLORENCE, ROME AND NAPLES, WERE DISCONTINUED AS OF MAY 19, 2012.
Passengers are now required to connect at Milano Centrale to an airport train to/from Malpensa Airport.
