Bus Florence to Siena Saturdays

I would like to travel from Florence to Siena on SATURDAY, 13th June.

According to http://www.sitabus.it/sita-toscana/F...0-%20Siena.pdf

There are the following options:
Feriale / -weekdays
Da lunedi-a Venerdi/ - Monday to Friday
Festiva/Sunday/- Holiday
Sabato/- Saturday
Judging by other posts Feriale here means Monday to Saturday. Is this so, please? (confused because there is also a Sabato.)
Regards, Pete

Hello Pete, feriale means workday (as in Monday through Friday). And yes, Sabato is Saturday. Have a wonderful time in Siena!

Thnak you, LoveItaly. The problem is that, I believe, feriale means workday (as in Monday through SATURDAY) often and I do not know whether or not this is the case for the SITA bus to Siena.
Regards,
Pete

Hello again Pete. I clicked on the website you provided and clicked on the English flag for the English. The website is not the most user friendly however in the bottom left it shows the "Legend" and it reads Feriale/weekdays and Sabato/Saturday.

So is sure seems to me that Saturday has it own schedule.

When you get to Florence will you have time to check at the bus station and verify? Best regards.

Hi Parmi - You are right -

F - Feriale in Italian timetables is always Mon-SAT. (i.e. daily except Sun)

S - in this case are additional Saturday services.

So ... on Sita's timetable, services running on Saturdays are those under

'F' and 'S'

i.e. 06.45 - 08.10 - 09.10 - 10.10 etc

Hope this helps...

Steve

Many thanks, loveitaly and Steve_james.
I will get to Florence Tuesday and will check there for the following Saturday, just to ease the mind.
Regards,
Pete

Siena Mobilita is the website for the buses in Tuscany including SITA, Tra-in, LFI, etc. On the route between Siena and Florence are both Sita and Tra-in (both should show on Siena Mobilita schedule). You can enter your towns/dates and get the schedule.
http://www.sienamobilita.it/EN/index.html

I have the timetable booklet (160 pages) for all the buses that Siena Mobilita covers. It lists the explanations of schedules as:

Crossed hammers - daily Monday-Saturday
Cross - holidays
A - workday except Saturday
Sab - Saturday
SaB e Fest - Saturday and holidays

There may also be other days of weeks listed.
