Budget places to stay
We are looking for some help in finding inexpensive hotels or B&B's in Brussels,Bruges, Luxembourg City and Amsterdam.
We would like private bathroom but other than that ammenities are not that important. So long as the rooms are clean and not in a bad area of town.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I really want to go to the Benelux countries someday soon, so I've started to make note of inexpensive places to stay. Here's a few that seem interesting and get good reviews- you can do a search of their names here on the board.
Amsterdam: Hotel Brouwer www.hotelbrouwer.nl
Brussels: Welcome Hotel
www.hotelwelcome.com
Brugge: Hotel Cordoeanier www.cordoeanier.be
Luxembourg is a little trickier, but try doing a search here for "budget hotel AND luxembourg"
Hope this helps. Good luck!

Try typing:
schintgen
into the search box. It'll bring up 3 or 4 threads that I posted concerning that hotel in Luxembourg. Though not super-budget it was reasonably enough priced for me.
I loved Luxembourg. It's a beautiful city. I'm trying to plan at least a day trip back there next spring.
The good news is you've pick a great place to go in Luxembourg: beautiful city and not many tourists. The bad news is you won't get much help here as Luxembourgh gets very little play on this forum.

Don't know what you mean by budget but here is one for Bruges where we have stayed on a couple of occasions and found very comfortable. The hosts are friendly and the breakfast is wonderful. Its just a few feet from the Markt.

In Bruges, we stayed with the Rigelle family a couple of years ago at their B&B called "Coupure" - simple, clean, friendly, short walk to the center, with a good breakfast offering; less than 50 Euros double:

Hi, scottp. Years ago we stayed at Hotel Voermanshuys, and we really were pleased with it. It's in a quiet neighborhood. J.
