Annam, thanks! DanHostel Copenhagen City looks great, at least in terms of location and price. Price appears to be 480 DKK for a room for two with shower and toilet (about $77 US at today's rate), plus 60 DKK for breakfast and bedding (about $10 for each of us for bedding and breakfast). In the end, it looks like we'd be paying about $97 for a room for 2, with breakfast. Does that sound right to you? Is that right? What does breakfast include?

To save money, I suppose my sis and I could each bring an old sheet, pillow case and worn out towel and toss them on checkout?
I see they also have kitchen and laundry facilities.
Thanks for the tip! We'll definitely check it out. I wonder how soon we'll have to make up our minds to ensure a room.

As I recall from 6 years ago, a hostel breakfast in Denmark consisted of breads, cheeses, cold cuts, dry cereal, yogurt, fruit, and sometimes hard-boiled eggs. For an extra 3 or 4 bucks, they would give you some waxed paper and a bag and let you pack yourself a lunch for later in the day. I would book as early as possible. Hostels fill up quickly in the high season, and if you're not there by 6PM, they give your room away. I'm not sure if it is possible to guarantee a reservation at a hostel, and they may not take credit cards, so be sure to check that all out. Also, you may have to buy an HI membership card or pay a nightly membership fee if you are not a member, but it wasn't expensive as I recall.

Mary_Fran, in my experience, you should book months in advance to get a private room at a nice hostel. So now is a good time. Those tend to go very fast. I tried for Amsterdam about six months in advance, and failed.
