Ronda,
i am just back from the Prinsenhof and was very happy with my room. It was a twin room on the top floor(scarily steep stairs- you wouldn't want to come in a bit tipsy!). the furnishings are very nice and the bathroom is big and spotless.
The breakfast was fabulous- really nice buffet and it was great entertainment to see the greedy Germans going back for 6th helpings, as well as actually making their lunch sandwiches, at their breakfast table, from rolls, cold meats and cheese!
Anyway, I really liked this hotel, my rate was 149. my relatives have just arrived at the same hotel and they too are paying the same rate- and they've just phoned me to tell me that they've been up graded to a superior room at no extra charge. So, as you can see, the staff are very nice..
Also, I liked the location- it's quiet and there's a really pleasant cafe just before you turn off for the hotel.
Hope you enjoy your trip.
Ps: I don't know if you're interested in art, but the main gallery is partially closed- only a very small collection is being shown at the moment, and you still have to pay the same entrance fee..

Mary, thanks for the feedback. Which gallery were you talking about? Now, I am being tempted to switch my hotel. I will be staying at Ter Duinen and the rate qouted me was $148. It seems that Prinsenhof and Ter Duinen charge the same, but I thought Prinsenhof is a better hotel. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Celeste,
the museum I was referring to is the Groeninge Museum which is the main art gallery. The only collection they had on display was the Flemish primitives- but as it included the painting that I wanted to see- THE LAST JUDGEMENT by Bosch- I was contented enough to pay in.
If you buy a special tourist pass which is available for 15euros in any of the museums- you can get into five museums with it. It's a good saving if you do have time to do most of the museums..
I don't know the hotel Ter duinen, but I was happy with the Prinsenhof. Have a good trip..
