They do not have to be full days. We were there 1.5 days and 2 nights. We saw all we wanted to see and had pleanty of time for strolling and sitting and relaxing.

I, too recommend Absoluut Verhulst. My family stayed in the loft suite and it was the highlight of our trip! It is well worth the $!!!!
