Brugge - Voermanshuys or other hotel recommendations
Just starting to plan a May 2007 trip which includes 2 days in Brugge. Been doing a lot of research on hotels/bed and breakfasts.
Anyone stay here recently or have any other recommendations. It is my husband and I and we do not require really expensive hotels but like to get a good value for our money. Close to market, canal.

I highly recommend the B&B Absoluut Verhulst :

The hosts, Benno and Frieda, are warm and welcoming, the location is wonderful, and the room we stayed in was large and comfortable, decorated with a few choice antiques. I can't speak highly enough about the place. We were there last summer, and the room cost us 80 euros/night.

Hi - I stayed at the Hotel 't Zand in Sept. It was renovated in 2006. I loved it, rooms were good sized, great breakfast, great restaurant, and located on the 't Zand pedestrian zone. We paid 60E for a single. I'd definitely stay there again.
