I think BA will become my airline of choice! I am really tired of not being able to put my coat/jacket in an overhead because someone has their 22" suitcase. To me carryons should be for breakables (ex-camera), meds, and in flight necessities (and necessity is a sweater and a book), as well as a change of undies and a shirt/blouse. On a "one plane" flight lost luggage is rare. I think people forget common courtesy and safety when it comes to carryons.

Coming next? Personal weight limits and costs. Tourist/Economy class seats of different capacities and of course different prices. Ryanair is driving all airfare prices down. Now, pay for checked baggage. Size and 10K limit in the cabin. First time travellers always have too much baggage and much of it is never used! What tourist that you know has ever changed their attire more than once a day?

The extra attire is for those who are anticipating losing their checked luggage -- it's happened to me on 25% of my flights overseas.
