BREAK IN OSLO OR STOCKHOLM

any suggestions on which is preferable to go to oslo or stockholm for 2 or 3 days. No great desire to visit lots of museums etc. Just soak up the atmosphere. Maybe october or november for a few snowscapes etc

Certainly more to do and see in Stockholm. Beautiful walks along the waterfronts. Nice parklands.

My favorite thing to see in Oslo was the sculpture park but that sounds a bit museumy, so on balance I think you'd do well to give Stockholm your nod.

Another vote for Stockholm, beautiful setting, lots of options. I also liked Oslo a lot but the prices in Norway are much higher than in Sweden and that makes a difference.

Definitely Stockholm, much more interesting than Oslo. Stockholm is my favourite Scadninavian city. Oslo's limited attraction keep me busy for a day, there's more to see/do in Stockholm.

I would check out the weather statistics - not at all sure you'll see snow in October or even November in either city.
