Bra, Italy

Our final destination will be Bra and my question is would we be better to fly into Milan or Rome from the states?

TIA

I should think we'd have to know quite a bit more than what your final destination is to give you a sensible answer. Obviously, Milan is closer to Bra than Rome but what is your itinerary and what are your flight options? You don't seem to be contemplating the obvious - open-jaw flights.

Bra is
120 miles (all motorway) from Milan Malpensa airport
450 miles (almost all motorway) from Rome Fiumicino airport
50 miles (all motorway) from Turin Caselle airport
200 miles (almost all motorway through the Alps) from Geneva airport
220 miles (almost all motorway through the Alps) from Lyon airport
280 miles (almost all motorway through the Alps) from Zurich airport

Public transport:
Turin airport - Bra: trains at lest every hr until 7pm, journey time about 2 hrs
Milano Malpensa Terminal 1 dp by bus every hr from 8.05 until 17.05 to Turin plus train to Bra. Journey time 3 1/2 hrs
Roma Fiumicino airport dp by train about every hr until 15.12, journey time 6-7 hrs, change at Rome and Turin
Zurich airport dp by train every hr until 14.47, journey time 6 1/2 - 7 1/2 hrs, change at Milan and Turin
Lyon airport dp by train 12.37 and 16.37 - Bra ar 17.29 and 21.29, change at Turin PS
no useful public transport from GVA to Bra
