Hello -travleing to southern France for a week (June) in Bormes-les-Mimosas and was wondering if anyone could recommend any great restaurants (nothing too fancy - will be with the kids). Can anyone comment on the beaches. Thanks!

4totravel, there are alot of restaurants, fast food, crepes in the town mostly in the old village and in the Pines of Bornes. I'll try to find the site I once knew and will post it for you.

I couldn't find my original site I used at that time but here is one I found that lists all the restaurants. Mimosas are one of my favorite flowers, but alas, February is their month of glory.

cigalechanta - thanks. Have you been to the beaches in town - they look nice on the website? We're making this town our base for the week and want to enjoy all it has to offer.

Have you searched this site? I've written several posts on my visit there (favorable) including the public beach right in town. The pictures of the outlying beaches appear more desirable for swimming. I have no idea of the name of the cafe in which we ate but it was delicious. The owner waited on us and made us feel special. Bormes is a place I will return to.
