Borghese reservations

I'm trying to reserve tickets to the Borghese Gallery for mid APril but the official site only allows them to be made for the current month. Any suggestions?

I just reserved for April 1st. I believe it only loads 2 weeks in advance. I got back an acknowledment email and then this morning the confirmation.

What date are you looking for?

Sorry to hijack, but could I ask a question? I know a lot of people here recommend the Borghese gallery, and from looking at the website, I guess I'm not seeing what makes it a "must-see". Could anyone enlighten me? Thanks!

I actually just made reservations for the Galleria Borghese through www.ticketeria.it. You just need to fill out the form (you must give them an email address) and they will forward your reservation confirmation to you. Good luck! And maybe we'll see you there (we're scheduled for April 15th)!

The Galleria Borghese is famous for its incomparable collection of Bernini sculptures, as well as for a small, but outstanding, collection paintings. For those of us who love art, it is easily among the must-sees of Rome.

I've never really appreciated sculpture, but was wowed by the Borghese. The collection is amazing. I can't describe how real many of the statues seems where the marble looks like actual fabric draping. We went our first trip because of everyone recommending it on this site. I can't wait to go back again.

Patiboo, I'm a big believer in taking advantage of the services of one's hotel. So, assuming you're not staying in an apartment, email or FAX your hotel and ask them to make a reservation for you. Give them as many day/time options as you can.
