I have minimal help -- I stayed at the Maximillian twice and loved it. Great location, wonderful hotel and staff -- only problem for me is they changed style from traditional to some contemporary minimalist stuff in last year or two. I don't care for that style, but assume the rest still holds. I think they own the Josef, also, so imagine it is also a good hotel if you like the style.
I don't know much about the K*K Fenix, maybe be great hotel, but I believe that is near Wenceslas Sq and not even a good side of it, and that is not an area I would care to be in as a tourist for various reasons. Maybe it would be okay for a businessman. That is from memory, and I didn't have time to look it up, so if it isn't near Wenceslas Sq ignore that comment.
