Melissa Beckoff London Trip Thread

I cannot stand to think of Melissa trying to handle all the details that she is dealing with right now and having to plan a trip to London without trying to at least help with the Trip.
That we can all do.
This can be The Melissa Beckoff London Trip thread.
Now let's all work together!

1- Getting there.
Try to fly Virgin or British Air.
I love Virgin.
2- I like flying into Heathrow and taking a taxi to the hotel.
Let us know the dates so we can help !

Good job, Scarlett. Melissa, check the prices for Virgin's Premium Economy class. I'm sure your dad would feel more comfortable.

Scarlett, What a super idea!

Let's try to keep it near the top so Melissa sees it when she logs on Fodors.

I can contribute my unique eating, drinking, shopping and hotel reviews for London? There are some amazing restaurants in London who would surely be able to cater for Melissa and her family. I've personally visited every single one of these places and think they are great.

Salisbury Cathedral is one of the most majexstic buildings I have ever been to so I can recommend that too!

She's a poster who is planning a trip to London with her older terminally ill dad. She was getting some static about vague message headers and Scarlett had the brilliant idea of organizing a thread for her.

What a great idea Scarlett. While I don't have anything useful to add, I do know that it can be a daunting task to plan travel under normal circumstances. If for nothing else, this will keep this post topped. Best of luck Melissa, enjoy the time you have left with your father.
