StCirq et al: quick apology. I am a terrible typist and a lefty (can YOU spell dyslexic?) too boot. So please forgive any misspellings of your name/screen name or, hell, I'm capable of getting my own name wrong ...

In september I'll probably have a trip of three days in Paris. I know that it will be with

but it has not be decided which restaurants, museum and streets I shall experiment. The apartment you select is a point of view. For me, in Paris, each point of view is dominated by a writer, a painting, an historical fact, whaterver. Travelling is sorting memory out. Let's see, I'll get you informed.

Just wanted to say thank you to all the folks who gave such helpful sugestions.
We wound up taking the group to Bofinger one night and doing a Seine Cruise with Bateaux Parisienne the other. Grandma loved it. And we have some amazing pics of her at 80 with reflections of various Paris landmarks on the glass.
As for the other parts of the trip - I could go on and on and on... but, Lyon was beautiful, Montpellier so totally charming we MUST go back, and the area around the tiny village in the Languedoc where we rented a house for a week was the icing on the cake!
Thanks again for the good tips!
